Navigating the Google Play Store
Let's start out by taking a look at how to get around the Google Play Store. We'll go over the Home page, how to browse apps in a specific category, and then how to search for a specific app.
When the Google Play Store is open, you'll notice a selection of advertised deals for certain apps across the top of the screen, a row of green pill-shaped navigation buttons across the middle of the screen, and many different additional apps and their ca
The Featured section at the top of the Google Play Store is like a storefront display, highlighting popular apps and limited time offers.
The green pill-shaped buttons underneath the Featured section allow you to browse different sections of the Play Store.
Top Charts shows the leading apps of the moment. To make the Top Charts list, an app must be one of the most downloaded apps on the Google Play Store, and be well reviewed.
After tapping Top Charts on the Google Play Store home page, you'll notice a number of categories along the top of the Top Charts page. Tap 'Top Free' to see the most popular and highly-rated free apps. Select 'Top Paid' to display the best apps available
You can also tap 'Trending' on the far right to show apps that have recently received excellent feedback and a high number of downloads. The 'Trending' section is a great way to stay informed of the newest and most popular apps.
To exit the Top Charts page and return to the Google Play Store home page, tap on the back arrow in the upper left hand corner of your screen. The back arrow is used throughout the Play Store to return to the previous screen.

From the Google Play Store home page, you can tap the 'Categories' button to browse apps that the Play Store has organized according to a variety of themes, such as Business, Sports, and Travel.

You can search for the app you're looking for at any time in the Google Play Store. If you're on the Google Play Store home page, simply tap on the search bar at the top of the screen and start typing.
